Carl H. Paiva J.P.
Lead producer, investor
C.E.O. of Worldview Travel (formerly C Travel) -- has been among the most recognized names (and faces) in the travel business in Bermuda and beyond. After 40 years of hard work and dedication, Mr. Paiva retired from the travel business on December 1, 2013. By 2016, he added the title of 'Broadway Producer' to his long list of accomplishments.
Mr. Paiva started his career in the travel business in 1971; first as a shipping agent for Watlington & Conyers and later moving on to Meyer Travel in 1974 -- where he performed as the Vice President of the company for 25 years. He took a further step towards his ultimate vision in the travel business by starting his own company "C Travel" with Lois Wilson in November 2000. After a tremendously successful decade of business growth, Worldview Travel bought the company as the sole owner (under the 114B license) in April 2011 . Mr. Paiva divides his time between United States (New York City) and Bermuda, pursuing yet another passion of his; philanthropy in Performing Arts. In a statement addressed in the Bermudian newspaper The Royal Gazette, Mr. Paiva states: "...I have always been a fan of the performing arts; especially musical theatre. I look forward to supporting the arts through my philanthropic efforts and hope to contribute to successful productions, advise new talent and enjoy exciting new works in New York City."
